As the Managing Editor for Milwaukee lifestyle magazine, 4PM, I was responsible for the timely delivery of content from over 25 freelance writers, photographers, and graphic designers. Two months prior to each issue, I met with the Editor in Chief to determine the theme and content of the issue. I then strategically assigned work to my team of artists based on their demonstrated strengths. Once work was submitted, I reviewed and edited all content before turning it over to our designer for composition. In addition to magazine content, we developed 2-4 pieces of original supporting content to be used exclusively in the digital space. My work in this role taught me how important it is to have complementing material across all brand channels to ensure consumers enjoy a consistent experience with the brand.
